Polyurethane Resin Castings

These castings are offered for kitbash or scratch building projects. The prices reflect the fact that the materials are expensive.  But they are good!  Flat castings not readily prone to distortion are the norm and the greater strength compared with the traditional polyester castings makes the additional cost worthwhile, in my opinion.

All castings are flat backed unless otherwise noted.

The colour of castings may vary from those illustrated.  At the time of beginning my journey into polyurethane I was pigmenting the resin and that is shown in some of the illustrations here.  My ongoing experiments suggest that it is better not to pigment so castings may be supplied in the natural resin colour which is a pale amber tan.

In the photos of the following doors there has been some loss of definition to keep file size small.  This has resulted in some of the timber scribing appearing to be uneven.  In fact all the scribing is very crisp and clean,  Evergreen brand styrene having been used for the patterns.
