The kit features all metal construction and is recommended as an 'entry level' kit for those wishing to master low melt soldering techniques. Tank Wagon Bodyline Kits
| These kits
include chassis and couplers but do not include bogies nor wheels. Bogies listed as
BP97 and BP 3181 under Chassis and Bogies are suitable for the
Uc2 and Uc8. A more modern bogie to BP 25340 which is suitable for Uc9 is marketed
by von Strapp. These kits contain a plastic tube tank, sheet brass deck and many white metal or pewter and lost wax brass castings. They are heavy. These kits are not expected to be re-run.
