Cast in polyurethane for relative high strength and light weight these seats are designed primarilly for our own range of coaches but are also suitable for scratchbuilding projects.

It has been customary for the floors of our coaches to be attached to the bodies with screws into small wooden blocks attached to the inside of the end walls. The corner seats in the following sets have been made solid blocks to enable them to be glued to the end walls and to be drilled and tapped to accept screws from the underside of the floor thereby providing a means for attachment of floor to body instead of the wooden blocks that were previously used.

All other seats are intended to be mounted on the floor of the coach and support is required adjacent to the wall. This is provided in the complete sets with castings of strips to simulate ducting as is shown in the photos linked to the products listed below.

The photos linked to this page are of early production castings which were cast in several colours appropriate to the finished colour of the parts. Resins have changed since then and those currently in use do not accept red and 'varnish' pigments without distorting the colour. Accordingly, all current castings are made in a neutral grey colour which is a good base colour for painting.
